Subscriptions: create, pause, cancel

Create a subscription

• Open Subscriptions and choose New subscription
• Pick the customer and one or more prices (each becomes a subscription item)
• Optionally apply a coupon
• The first invoice is issued immediately; renewals run automatically from then on

During the lifecycle

• Pause — stop billing without cancelling; resume picks up where you left off
• Charge now — collect the current period immediately instead of waiting for renewal
• Cancel — end at once, or at the end of the paid period

Renewals

A scheduler checks for due renewals every hour and charges the customer's default card. Failed renewals are retried and the subscription's status reflects where it stands.
